Grant DePalma is a high-performing, passionate, and multi-dimensional leader in athlete development and alternative investing. With over 17 years of experience competing in sports, Grant made over 300 career tackles as a college linebacker. As a Division III transfer and Walk-On at Western Michigan University, he earned a scholarship, graduated with a Bachelor’s in Construction Engineering, and was recognized as a Burlsworth Trophy Nominee and Bahamas Bowl Defensive MVP.

Grant’s professional career spans over 14 years across diverse industries, including seven years building and operating a Bitcoin-focused investment fund from the ground up. He also spent three years establishing and running a sports performance coaching company, which has expanded into Sports & Fitness Facility Consulting as part of GDPerform’s business. Additionally, Grant has over a decade of experience developing software in Python, solving problems in athletic performance, business, and investing.

Grant’s character has been shaped by God, exceptional coaches and mentors, a blue-collar Chicago upbringing, and tens of thousands of hours devoted to pursuing excellence in sports, academics, and industry. He is deeply committed to passing on the wisdom gained through his journey—lessons learned from failures, successes, and leading alongside high performers at the collegiate level, as well as coaching elite-caliber athletes.

Grant brings a rare combination of athleticism, grit, leadership, mathematical intuition, and an engineering mindset to his work. His coaching philosophy is built on a lifetime of learning, study, and experience, including blueprints and techniques influenced by great coaches like Tim McGarigle, PJ Fleck, Ed Pinkham, Kerry Neal, and Dan Nichol. Grant sees every opportunity to coach as a gift and an honor, driven by his unwavering passion for empowering athletes to cultivate greatness within them both on and off the field.
